Chris Evans Has High Praise for Avengers 4

Given the scale of Avengers: Infinity War, it’s hard to imagine how Marvel Studios will manage to top the film with next summer’s still untitled Avengers 4. However, Captain America actor Chris Evans assures fans that the film definitely won’t disappoint.

While at ACE Comic Con this weekend, Evans, who was on a panel along with Karen Gillan and Lee Pace, briefly discussed the upcoming film. Although he previously teased his final line of dialogue during reshoots was pretty “stupid,” Evans had nothing but praise for both Marvel Studios and those involved with bringing Avengers 4 to life. When asked what fans could expect with Avengers 4, Evans was quick to note there’s “so much” in store for fans in the upcoming film, promising that Marvel “knows what they’re doing.”

“I mean, I guess all I can say is if Marvel has proven anything it’s just that they know what they’re doing. They know what they’re doing. I don’t think they’ve missed a beat. Their worse mistakes are other studios’ like biggest blessings you know what I mean?” he teased. “Like, they don’t miss, they don’t miss, and they have not missed with this one and it really is just an incredible culmination of this unbelievable tapestry of…I mean, how many individual series is it? Is it like, what six, seven individual parts coming together.”

Evans went on to elaborate, explaining that the studio truly went all out on this next installment — not just by bringing together so many different franchises, but by also sticking “a flag in the ground” with this film. “It’s never been done before and I don’t know if it will ever be done again and they really stick a flag in the ground on this one and pull out all the stops and you won’t be disappointed.”

At this point, very little is known regarding Avengers 4, however, a possible leaked trailer description for the film may hint at a slew of surprises in store for fans. With speculation that the first trailer will arrive before year’s end, perhaps we’ll get a better idea of what to expect relatively soon.
