Fans may not see Tom Hardy’s Venom battle Tom Holland’s Spider-Man on the big screen any time soon, but a new fan video imagines what it would be like to see the two characters duke it out.
Created by VS GAG, the fan video shows an entertaining first fight between Hardy’s Lethal Protector and Holland’s Wall-Crawler. It begins by connecting to a scene in director Ruben Fleischer’s Venom, and concludes with a cliffhanger that promises another video. Could the second fan video give Venom the signature spider logo on his chest? We’ll just have to wait and see.

There’s still no official word on whether the Web-Slinger play any kind of role whatsoever in Venom; however, the popular hero has allegedly impacted the upcoming comic book movie’s rating. While some fans were hoping for Venom to be a gory R-rated movie, the movie is PG-13, and that’s reportedly because Spider-Man couldn’t appear in a graphic franchise.
Opening in theaters on October 5, director Ruben Fleischer’s Venom stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, and Riz Ahmed as Carlton Drake/Riot.
