Avengers vs X-Men Movie Imagined in Fan-Made MCU Posters

It’s been months since it was first reported that Disney would be acquiring all of Fox’s assets, a process that would result in the X-Men and the Fantastic Four finally coming back under the Marvel umbrella. Obviously, this is something that fans have waited to see for a long time, but it’s still far from being done. As it stands, most people don’t know what the situation is when it comes to the movie rights of these characters — especially since Fox is still currently producing several X-Men-based films. However, most have assumed, for a while now, that the mutant super-team and Marvel’s first family of superheroes are finally coming back home.

Yesterday came the most official answer yet, when Disney CEO Bob Iger told The Hollywood Reporter that “There shouldn’t be two Marvels” and that the X-Men would fall in Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige’s jurisdiction. It didn’t take long after that for fans to start celebrating. In fact, renowned artist BossLogic released two fan-made posters detailing what the arrival of the X-Men could look like in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The artist’s posters both advertise a potential Avengers vs. X-Men film, and they sure look like they could be the real deal. The first is a teaser poster, and reveals the promise of the respective super-teams’ logos superimposed over one another. Of course, it wouldn’t be complete without the three scratch marks that would tease the arrival of everyone’s favorite clawed mutant, Wolverine.

The second poster highlights a showdown that many fans would love to see unfold on the screen: Iron Man versus Magneto, suit of metal versus the master of magnetism. This is only the first of many possible pairings that fans can’t wait to see on the screen, and we can only hope that Marvel Studios gets the rights back to the characters before it’s too late.

After all, next year’s untitled Avengers 4 is rumored to be the final MCU movie for many actors like Chris Evans and Robert Downey, Jr. If that is the case, then we might never get to see Iron Man take on the might of Magneto on the big screen. But we’re certain that if that is the case, then Kevin Feige has a plan.
