The news comes after a casting call for the character leaked last week following rumors that Outsiders villain Dr. Jace would also appear in the upcoming season.

Created in the pages of September 1985’s Batman & the Outsiders #25 by writer Mike W. Barr and artist Jim Aparo, Looker is a superhero with powers of telepathy and telekinesis that eventually joins Batman’s team alongside Black Lightning.

While Looker’s role in the upcoming season is still under wraps, it does suggest The CW series may see its own version of the Outsiders assemble in the future.

It is scheduled to return on The CW for its second season on Tuesday, October 9 at 9 pm ET/PT.
