First introduced in 2014’s American Godzilla reboot, Project Monarch is a top secret organization created to observe Godzilla and other kaiju around the world. The organization was next seen in a post-credits scene from last year’s Kong: Skull Island linking the two films to set up 2020’s Kong vs. Godzilla.
Next year’s Godzilla: King of Monsters promises a showdown of equally epic proportions as the titular monster is expected to face longtime nemesis King Ghidorah while featuring the rebooted debuts of Rodan and Mothra.
