One of the most memorable villains in the classic Batman: The Animated Series was Mr. Freeze, and now the tragic antagonist is about to get his own Mondo figure.

Mondo is releasing two different sets for the cold-hearted Batman villain, who appeared in the first three volumes of the Emmy Award-winning series. The figure stands at 1/6 to scale with 28 points of articulation and a full set of accessories, including a stand.
One of the sets is a Mondo exclusive, coming with an additional swap-out head for a mourning Freeze, shattered helmet and a tombstone for Nora Fries, the villain’s wife, who was cryogenically frozen after she was diagnosed with a terminal illness. The exclusive set retails for $145 and is available for pre-order on Mondo’s website through Aug. 16. The regular set retails for $130, with both sets expected to ship sometime during the second quarter of 2019.

The acclaimed animated series will be available on DC Comics’ premium streaming service, DC Universe, when the platform launches this fall. In addition to being on the service, it will also mark the first time the first two seasons of the series will be available in high definition.
