Glass First Images Reveal Jackson, Willis & McAvoy Together

M. Night Shyamalan fans can get a first official look at Samuel L. Jackson, Bruce Willis and James McAvoy the upcoming thriller Glass.

With the director’s 2017 movie Split shockingly connecting to 2000’s Unbreakable, due to Willis’ return as David Dunn, a long-awaited sequel to the superhero movie finally went into production. Dunn and Jackson’s Elijah Price will once again cross paths in Glass, but this time, McAvoy’s Kevin Wendell Crumb is along for the ride as well.

Shared by Entertainment Weekly, the first images are a brightly colored depiction of what’s to come from the tense thriller. As well as showing off Elijah Price in a vibrant purple coat, the shots also reveal the three leads in therapy at the same psychiatric facility. Tasked with examining the three men who think they’re superheroes, Sarah Paulson is new to the ensemble as Dr. Ellie Staple.

Another photo reveals Anya Taylor-Joy’s return as Casey Cooke, Kevin’s surviving victim. A final shot shows Shyamalan and Willis in a candid behind-the-scenes moment on the set.

Split‘s ending of Dunn hearing about the horrific actions of Kevin Crumb while eating in a diner neatly set up a follow-up to Unbreakable. Shyamalan has always made it clear he wanted to make a sequel and the box office success of Split finally allowed him to realize that dream. Find out more about Glass at Universal’s Hall H Comic-Con International presentation later this month.
