Upcoming TV anime Ingress: The Animation has released a main visual along with information on its main cast.
The adaptation is based on Ingress, a smartphone game made by Niantic, Inc., which is also widely known for developing Pokémon GO.
Directed by Sakuragi Yuhei, the anime will focus on Makoto, a man with the ability to read the memories of objects he touches, Sarah, a girl who has lost her memories, and Jack, a mysterious character pursuing Sarah. Makoto is to be played by Nakajima Yoshiki, Sarah by Ueda Reina and Jack by Kiyama Shigeo. It was also revealed that Ogata Megumi will be voicing ADA, an artificial intelligence developed by Niantic Project researchers.
The anime adaptation Ingress: The Animation will begin airing this October in Japan and will also be streaming around the world on Netflix.
