Freud will be Netflix’s first original drama out of Austria.

After finding success with German mystery series Dark, which Netflix recently greenlit for a second season, the streaming giant seems to have found a good thing overseas. Netflix signed an exclusive multi-year deal with Dark creators Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese, its first such overall deal in Europe.
