Created by Mike Judge, Abby Terkuhle and Glenn Eichler as a recurring character on the iconic 1990s animated series Beavis and Butthead, Daria Morgendorffer received her own spinoff that ran on MTV from 1997 to 2001. Developed by Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn, with the title character voiced by Tracy Grandstaff, the series followed the smart, acerbic Daria as she experienced all the trials and tribulations of high schoo, navigating a world seemingly devoid of common sense as the last sane teenager on Earth.
