Stranger Things, on the other hand, took home three awards, including one for Best Show. Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, snagged the Best Performance in a Show Award, while Will Byers actor Noah Schnapp snapped up the Most Frightened Performance Award. The show also won in the Best Musical Moment category, for the Season 2 finale scene where Mike Wheeler and Eleven swayed to The Police’s “Every Breath You Take” at his Snow Ball dance. Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard also contributed to the Best On-Screen Team Award for his role in IT.

Overall, comic book media won big at the event. Madelaine Petsch won the Scene Stealer Award for her role in Riverdale, which is a dark retelling of Archie Comics’ famous comic book line. Wonder Woman‘s famous No Man’s Land scene won for Best Fight. Chris Pratt, who stars as Star-Lord in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, also received the Generation Award. In all, comic book-inspired movies and shows conquered seven of the 17 categories.
