The Merc with a Mouth is about to take a top-secret mission to save the world from terrorists, with plenty of espionage, intrigue and fourth wall-breaking action.
Marvel and comiXology have announced a new six-part digital miniseries, Deadpool: Secret Agent Deadpool, which follows Wade Wilson as he undertakes the mission of an American spy he killed. When Wilson learns the agent was on a mission to stop the terrorist organization GORGON, he sets out to save the world with well-aimed bullets and well-timed jokes.
The new miniseries is only the latest in Marvel’s line of comixology Originals, which includes Black Panther: Long Live the King, The Immortal Iron Fists, and Thor vs. Hulk: Champions of the Universe. Secret Agent Deadpool will be released biweekly, with the first chapter set to debut in September on comiXology.
