Fans of the conspiracy theory-loving DC superhero The Question will be happy to learn the character is slated to make their DC Rebirth debut soon.
Asked by a fan if he had any plans for a Question miniseries, upcoming Action Comics writer Brian Michael Bendis revealed that the faceless DC hero will actually appear in September’s Action Comics #1005, which will apparently be illustrated by Ryan Sook.
Well to quote Ryan Sook who just emailed me after reading Action comics 1005: “THE QUESTION!!! Awesome!” So question fans, buy action comics 🙂 https://t.co/gvXyEfB6iU

First created by Steve Ditko in 1967’s Blue Beetle #1 with Charlton Comics, The Question was later integrated into the DC Universe during 1985’s Crisis on Infinite Earths by Marv Wolfman and George Perez after DC’s acquisition of Charlton. After a critically acclaimed solo ongoing series by Denny O’Neil and Denys Cowan, original Question Vic Sage passed the mantle on to Batman supporting character Renee Montoya before succumbing to cancer in 2007’s 52 #38 by Greg Rucka, Joe Bennett and Keith Giffen.
During the New 52 era, a mysterious, immortal figure became The Question trying to remember who he was before being cursed with the objectivist mantle thousands of years in the past. No incarnation of the character has appeared thus far in DC’s Rebirth era, and Bendis avoided divulging which version he will be writing, so start your theorizing now!

With Action Comics #1005 not expected to be released until September, fans can instead see Bendis and Sook’s first team-up on a Superman story in next week’s Man of Steel #3.
