Mark Brooks’ Batman #50 Variant Covers Feature Harley Quinn

With less than a month until Batman and Catwoman  tie the knot, another surprise guest has been revealed.

Artist Mark Brooks (Han Solo) tweeted two versions of his variant cover for July’s Batman #50, which sees Bruce Wayne wed Selina Kyle. Depicting the bride in already-iconic wedding dress, one cover tops off the ensemble with a simple veil, while the other adds the antiheroine’s familiar cowl, goggles and whip.

An interesting element on both versions of is the presence of frequent Joker conspirator Harley Quinn. While The Joker’s role in upsetting the planned nuptials has been teased since last month’s DC Nation #0, Harley hasn’t been announced to appear. Brooks’ variants tease the possibility of two of Gotham City’s most iconic couples crossing paths for Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle’s happy day.
