Spider-Man fans may finally have the chance to get their own masks complete with intuitively expressive lens.
Hong Kong-based Spider-Man cosplayer Lenses Factory HK tweeted a video showing off his new Spidey mask in action. The mask’s lenses can narrow as if the friendly neighborhood wall-crawler is squinting. They can also narrow either eye, emulating a wink. Best of all, every action can be triggered hands-free.

The style is reminiscent of the Marvel Cinematic Universe incarnation of Spider-Man’s classic mask, designed by Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) for actor Tom Holland’s Peter Parker in 2016’s Captain America: Civil War. The mask then reappeared in last year’s Spider-Man: Homecoming before being blasted into the stratosphere in this year’s Avengers: Infinity War.
While Spider-Man’s final fate looked grim coming out of the Avengers sequel, filming on the MCU’s follow-up to Homecoming is slated to begin this summer. Academy Award-nominated actor Jake Gyllenhaal has been in talks for the role of the classic Spider-Man villain Mysterio while Michael Keaton is expected to reprise his role as the Vulture.

Keaton’s return, along with further hints in Homecoming, teases the possibility of Spider-Man finally taking on the cinematic debut of the Sinister Six, a villainous superteam of Spidey’s greatest foes, all with the singular goal of destroying Spider-Man once and for all.
Until then, fans can continue to show their Spider-Man appreciation with increasingly inventive cosplay recreations of their favorite Marvel superhero.
