According to a teaser for the next season of Krypton, which was renewed just yesterday, Season 2 will change everything you thought you knew.
In the 15-second video, Superman’s iconic S symbol transforms into the House of Zod’s coat of arms. “The symbol you know is no more,” it promises.

Along with the tease for Season 2, SyFy released a post-mortem clip set after the events of the finale that sees General Zod uniting the people of Kandor in the aftermath of Brainiac’s attack. Using that as inspiration, he delivers a rousing speech about how the Kryptonians should expand beyond their home planet and set about creating a galactic empire, which just so happens to include Earth. Adam Strange learns Zod grows to be successful the hard way when he returns to the present day. Naturally, Zod concludes his powerful speech by saying the universe will kneel before him.
