When you’re the leader of the Guardians of the Galaxy, it’s expected you’ll be packing heavy heat. In Star-Lord’s (Chris Pratt) case, his signature weapons of choice are his Quad Blasters. However, in one key Avengers: Infinity War scene, Thanos used the Reality Stone to ensure Star-Lord’s hardware ended up shooting… well, bubbles.
As it turns out, this has inspired a fan to mock-up some NERF Bubble Gun Quad Blasters they’d like to see on shelves. It may be wishful thinking, but, hey, we’ve already had Baby Groot toys being sold, so we’d bet on these being hot sellers. Posted on reddit, fans can take in the blasters in all their glory, being rather cute than deadly.

In the film, Pratt’s Peter Quill ended up blasting bubbles when he and his fellow Guardians — Drax, Mantis and Gamora — tried to confront Thanos and stop him from killing the Collector. The Mad Titan eventually faced the heroes, grabbing Gamora and holding her hostage.
When she begged Star-Lord to kill her, as promised (all so Thanos couldn’t probe her for the Soul Stone’s location), he reluctantly pulled the trigger, only for the Quad Blasters to shoot bubbles. Thanos had reshaped reality in a cruel prank, taking away the glimmer of hope Gamora was harboring.
Eventually, Star-Lord would get a chance to use the Quad Blasters on Titan, but it was all in vain, as Thanos reshaped the universe by eliminating half the galaxy, with all the Guardians, save for Rocket Racoon, falling victim.
