Avengers 4 may not be the end of the line after all for the God of Thunder. Earlier today, Chris Hemsworth released a video thanking fans for the immense success of Avengers: Infinity War, while also giving a hint that he may not be done playing Thor yet.
On his Instagram, the actor thanked fans after Infinity War‘s massive opening in China. “It was the biggest superhero film opening ever,” the actor said. “The film continues to smash records left right and center and, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: it’s all thanks to you guys,” Hemsworth continued, praising all the fans who have embraced the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

But the actor didn’t stop there. “Thank you so much, everyone who continues to support these characters and the Marvel Universe,” he continued. Then, he followed up by saying “We’re going to keep trying to crank them out for you, if you let us,” seemingly hinting that he might be sticking around the MCU for the long haul.
With many actors reaching the end of their Marvel contracts, there have been increasing rumors that Avengers 4 will serve as a swan song for many original Avengers. However, if Chris Hemsworth’s words are to be believed, the actor is looking to put in more appearances as the God of Thunder as long as the fans want him to. And judging by the insanely popular response to the character in Infinity War, it looks like fans aren’t ready to say goodbye to Hemsworth’s God of Thunder just yet.
