Jessica Jones Character Descriptions Hint At Power Broker

New character breakdowns for Jessica Jones Season 3 may indicate Curtiss Jackson, also known as the Power Broker, will serve as the Netflix show’s newest villain.

That Hashtag Show published four character breakdowns, which are used to aid actors and producers in the casting process, and some theories about to whom from the comics those roles might correspond. You can read those descriptions below:

The article speculates “Collins” is actually Jackson, the founder of Power Broker, Inc. Through his company, Jackson augments those willing to pay for superpowers. The character also has close ties to Dr. Malus, the villain of Jessica Jones Season 2, as — in the comics — Malus worked for Jackson.

Building on that possibility, the article speculates “Elliot” is Edward Garner, who in the comics  founds Unlimited Class Wrestling Federation (UCWF), an organization featuring superpowered wrestlers. Many of Garner’s wrestlers received their powers through Power Broker, Inc., so there’s a solid enough connection there to indicate Jessica Jones Season 3 will feature the UCWF in some capacity.

Although “Zelda” and “Keira” don’t have any immediately apparent counterparts in the comics, their descriptions do indicate they could also appear in a potential Season 4.

Based on the Marvel Comics character created by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, Jessica Jones stars Krysten Ritter as the troubled, superpowered private investigator. In April, Netflix renewed the show for a third season.
