Marvel Decided Avengers 4 Title Early In Development Process

While it likely won’t live up to high expectations, Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige insists Avengers 4’s actual title was figured out pretty early on in the development process.

Speaking with Bustle, Feige indicated as much, in addition to providing a tiny hint: “We do have a name for it, we’re just not announcing it. And I think we came to that name fairly early in the development process. It speaks to the heart of the story.”

What exactly does Feige mean when he says the title “speaks to the heart of the story,” exactly? That remains unclear, but we’re sure it’ll all make sense in the long run.

With regards to the hype surrounding the fourth Avengers film’s secret title, Feige recently said, “It’s gotten entirely out of hand, and now will have no chance to living up to any expectations of what it’s gonna be.”

In theaters now, Avengers: Infinity War is already breaking box office records, having achieved the largest opening weekend, ever, at the box office. It passed Disney’s 2015 hit Star Wars: The Force Awakens by $10 million, earning $250 million over the course of its three-day haul.
