Wade Wilson takes to the water in the latest poster for Deadpool 2.
With less than a month until Deadpool 2 hits theaters, Fox has officially begun amping up its marketing blitz for the highly-anticipated sequel. The studio’s latest effort? A photo that sees the Merc with a Mouth taking to the waters on a swan raft. “Enjoy the weekend @coachella,” the film’s official Twitter account tweeted. “The 2nd is always better than the 1st.”

Tickets for the film officially went on sale this past Thursday, and although it’s still far too early to tell how well the film will perform come next month, it’s being reported that Deadpool 2 has already broken a couple of records. According to Regal Cinemas, not only has the film has already managed to crush the chain’s 24-hour advance tickets record, but it has also managed to break the chain’s sales record for an R-rated film. So perhaps the latest poster isn’t necessarily wrong — maybe the 2nd is always better than the 1st.

Directed by David Leitch, Deadpool 2 stars Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, Leslie Uggams as Blind Al, Stefan Kapičić as the voice of Colossus, and Karan Soni as Dopinder, with newcomers Zazie Beetz as Domino, Josh Brolin as Cable, Julian Dennison in an unknown role, and Jack Kesy as a villain widely thought to be Black Tom Cassidy. The film hits theaters on May 18.
