Syfy has given a series order to Deadly Class, an adaptation of the Image Comics series by Rick Remender and Wes Craig.
Hailing from Sony Pictures Television and Universal Cable Productions, the series is executive produced by Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo, Mike Larocca, and Remender and Miles Orion Feldsott, who adapted the comic for television.

Launched in 2014, Deadly Class is set against the backdrop of the late-1980s counterculture at King’s Dominion High School for the Deadly Arts, where the children of the world’s worst crime families send their children to be trained as assassins.
“We’re committed to developing graphic novels for Syfy and have found a rich, compelling, truly unique world in Deadly Class,” Bill McGoldrick, NBCUniversal Cable’s president of scripted entertainment, said in a statement. “Our producing partners expertly combined high school angst, ’80s nostalgia and comic flair into a beautifully realized, visually arresting pilot that truly brings Rick and Wes’ acclaimed comic series to life.”
