Power and Man and Iron Fist, finally reunited. A new official picture of the Mike Colter-starring Luke Cage Season 2 has just been unveiled, offering a glimpse at the newest team-up between the Hero of Harlem and the Living Weapon.
Empire revealed the image, which features both characters standing side-by-side, bathed in a purple light and ready for battle. While both characters are not wearing superhero costumes of any sort, Cage is seen sporting his trademark black-and-yellow hoodie, while Danny Rand is covering his head with a hood of his own.

The burgeoning friendship between Luke Cage and Danny Rand was a highlight of the first season of Netflix’s The Defenders, and many fans are looking forward to seeing the two characters embrace their Heroes For Hire partnership from the comic books. Having Danny pay a visit to Harlem to help Luke out of a jam seems like a solid step in the right direction.
Not much yet is known about the story of Luke Cage Season 2, although a brief teaser hinted at the titular character stepping out of the shadows to embrace his heroic side.
