WATCH: Infinity War Trailer Gets Logan-Style Remix

In the wake of the release of the epic second full-length trailer for Avengers: Infinity War, directors Joe and Anthony Russo shared a hilarious parody poster paying homage to James Mangold’s Logan, in which the Mad Titan Thanos’ massive purple hand is shown being held by the smaller green hand of a young Gamora. Taking the homage one step further, a YouTube channel has created an Avengers: Infinity War parody trailer in the style of the Logan trailer.

The parody trailer was posted to the Youtube channel Darth Blender, using scenes from the first two Avengers: Infinity War trailers, both Guardians of the Galaxy films, the first two Avengers films, and The Incredible Hulk. The trailer mashes up clips from these films with the audio from the iconic Logan trailer set to the tune of Johnny Cash’s “Hurt.”

The video features Stan Lee’s various cameos synced up with Professor Charles Xavier’s lines, while Thanos takes on the role of Logan and Gamora slots in as Laura/X-23. “In the near future, a weary Thanos cares for an ailing Stan Lee in a hide out on the Space border. But Thanos’ attempts to hide from the world and his legacy are up-ended when a young [child] arrives, being pursued by mystery forces,” the channel wrote in the description. For good measure, the trailer ends on the scene of a young Gamora gently grasping Thanos’ hand.
