A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 Trailer

Last year, the first season of Netflix’s A Series of Unfortunate Events had everyone talking. It gave us delightful performances by some amazing actors, both new and old, and brought the Lemony Snicket series to life in a whole new way.

The series premiered on Netflix in January 2017, and was renewed just two months later. The year following may have felt like an eternity for fans, but the show’s latest trailer indicates the wait has been worth it.

The new trailer indicates that this season will follow the story of the next five books in the series; the first season only covered the first four. As a result, Season 2 will be 10 episodes, keeping up the two-episodes-per-book pace that has been one of the show’s strengths.

We’ll start out in the “Austere Academy” and end up in the “Carnivorous Carnival,” which both seem incredibly awful for the Baudelaire children, but will probably prove rather entertaining for the audience. Along the way, the Baudelaires meet another group of children with a similar past, and a similar spyglass.

Debuting on March 30, A Series of Unfortunate Events Season 2 stars Malina Weissman as Violet, Louis Hynes as Klaus, Presley Smith as Sunny, K. Todd Freeman as Arthur Poe, Patrick Warburton as Lemony Snicket and Neil Patrick Harris as Count Olaf.
