A new promotional video for Marvel Studios’ Black Panther shows Marvel Cinematic Universe veteran Robert Downey Jr. interviewing one of the newest additions to the MCU’s roster – Chadwick Boseman, the Black Panther himself. The video sees the two actors trading compliments between talking about the upcoming film that sees Boseman take on the role of T’Challa, the king of Wakanda.
The video doesn’t reveal any new information about the film, but it does act as a refresher for those who might not recall all the events leading up to Black Panther. Boseman explains the various Avengers’ allegiances by the end of Captain America: Civil War, noting that T’Challa sided with Iron Man in the film.

Boseman then goes on to describe exactly why Wakanda is such an alluring place to foreigners. First of all, it’s an intensely mysterious place. Those who enter Wakanda, if they’re even able to find it, should not expect to leave easily. Secondly, Wakanda is home to one of the most valuable resources in the world: vibranium, the metal from which Captain America’s shield was forged.
Debuting in theaters on Feb. 16, Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler and stars Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o, Danai Gurira, Martin Freeman, Daniel Kaluuya, Letitia Wright, Winston Duke, Angela Bassett, Forest Whitaker and Andy Serkis.
