When Disney’s new streaming service launches in 2019, its TV lineup will include a live-action series set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and a show based on the Star Wars film franchise.

As for the content rating of all the programs debuting on the Disney platform, anything with an R-rating will be relegated to Hulu, to stay consistent with Disney’s family-friendly branding. Also, Netflix will get to keep its surplus of Marvel live-action shows, which include seasons of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, The Defenders and The Punisher. Netflix released a new trailer for Jessica Jones Season 3 yesterday, and the third season of Daredevil is expected to arrive this year as well. On the movie side, the goal of the Disney streaming service is to create between four and five original films, while TV will aim for five new series.

Disney is coming off of a blockbuster 2017, which saw the studio score the top three domestic debuts of the year in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Beauty and the Beast and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. It ended the year with over $6 billion at the box office and an announcement that it has all but sealed a deal to takeover a majority of 21st Century Fox, pending government approval.
