The sneak peak for the twelfth episode of Gotham‘s fourth season shows Peyton List as the famed comic book villain. The Mad Men and The Flash actor has previously been described as being part of “the continuing evolution of Poison Ivy’s origin story.” First played by Clare Foley, the role of Ivy was transformed from a pre-teen girl to a twenty-something woman, where Maggie Geha took over.
“Ivy Pepper has been transformed once again taking another step toward becoming the Ivy we know from the comics,” Gotham‘s producers said previously. “Dangerous. A live wire of crazy energy. She’ll set her sights on Gotham, intent on making the city her own green paradise.” Gotham is already full of crazy characters, such as Jerome – who’s set to return once more when the series returns from its mid-season break – so it’ll be interesting to see how this new verison of Ivy fits in.
