Hulu has released a second teaser for Castle Rock, the mysterious drama that will take viewers deep into the universe created by Stephen King.

The initial trailer, which debuted in October, was light on details, focusing instead on establishing atmosphere. This new footage, while brief, provides King fans with plenty of familiar names and places, perhaps most notably Shawshank Prison.

The 40-second promo follows protagonist Henry Deaver, played by André Holland, who returns home to Castle Rock, Maine, after receiving a call from an unknown individual at Shawshank. Castle Rock is, of course, the fictional town in which several of King’s works are set (it’s referenced in many more of his novels).

The allusions go deeper, however, as the TV show’s cast includes a murderers row of veterans of King adaptations, including Bill Skarsgård, who played Pennywise in 2017’s It, and Sissy Spacek who starred in the 1976 horror classic Carrie. If that seems like mere coincidence, there’s also Terry O’Quinn, who appeared as Sheriff Joe Haller in 1985’s Silver Bullet, and Melanie Lynskey from the 2002 King miniseries Rose Red.

None of those actors reprise their original roles, but there’s an obvious, intended thread running through Castle Rock. Considering the anthology series is produced by the mystery-loving J.J. Abrams, it makes sense to read these tantalizing clues; something is afoot in the town of Castle Rock.

Castle Rock will arrive later this year on Hulu. Produced by J.J. Abrams, the series stars Melanie Lynskey as Molly Strand, Scott Glenn as Alan Pangborn, André Holland as Henry Deaver, Janey Levy as Jackie, Terry O’Quinn as Dale Lacy and Bill Skarsgård as a Shawshank prisoner.
