Filming on the Tom Hardy-led Venom officially kicked off in October in Atlanta, and recently moved to San Francisco for the remainder of filming. It was during these final days of production that we got our first looks at Michelle Williams and Jenny Slate on set, and now it appears, the film has officially wrapped judging by Hardy’s latest Instagram posts. Over the course of production, Hardy has used the social media site to tease Sony’s fist Spider-Man spin-off, posting behind the scenes photos of the film including photos of him with director Ruben Fleischer, as well as his stunt double, and now thanks to his Instagram account, it appears that the film has finally finished filming ahead of its October release.

Original reports suggested the film would continue production through March, with the San Francisco portion originally slated to kickoff at the end of February. With the film now seemingly wrapped, one can only assume Sony will begin to ramp up marketing over the next few months, perhaps even releasing a teaser trailer to help get fans excited for the first spin-off of its main Spider-Man universe.
