A special trailer for the live action movie adaptation of Arakawa Hiromu’s Fullmetal Alchemist has been released to celebrate its performance at the box office.
Over 300,000 people flooded theaters across the country to catch a viewing of this long-awaited film from its premiere date of Dec. 1, which earned it over 350 million yen in just the first three days!
The first thirty seconds of the celebratory trailer resembles an old school 8-bit video game that might leave you feeling just a tad bit nostalgic.
Given that the film is likely to continue its successful run, perhaps they’ll release a full 8-bit game-themed trailer in the future? Or better yet, an actual Fullmetal Alchemist game! We’ll just have to wait and see.
