Manga Time Kirara Forward Magazine announced in its January 2018 issue, released on Nov. 24, that School-Live! is getting a live action movie!
Written by Kaihou Norimitsu (Nitroplus) and illustrated by Chiba Sadoru, School-Live! is a school life survival horror manga that depicts the days of the School Living Club of a girls’ private school, the only survivors in a town flooded by zombies.
The series also received an anime adaptation in 2015 that surprised much of its audience. Since the promotion didn’t show the horror aspects of the show, many were shocked when the series was not as harmless and cute as expected.
The announcement didn’t include anything on cast and staff members or release date, so be sure to check back for follow-ups! The manga will resume serialization from the next (February) issue.
