Walking Dead Will Reveal Fear Crossover Character on Sunday

Robert Kirkman blew the minds of The Walking Dead fans this past New York Comic Con when he announced that a character would finally be crossing over between The Walking Dead and its sister series Fear the Walking Dead. Yet the franchise creator remained coy by not revealing the identity of the character in question. That query will now officially be answered this Sunday night on the Chris Hardwick-hosted after show, Talking Dead, at 10 p.m. on AMC.

The most commonly recurring theory as to who might be crossing over is The Walking Dead alum Michael Cudlitz, whose run as the fan-favorite Abraham came to a grisly end during the Season 7 premiere. Since Fear the Walking Dead takes place earlier in the post-outbreak timeline, the character would ostensibly still be alive during Fear‘s upcoming fourth season.

Shortly after Abraham was first introduced, he revealed to other characters that he was living with his family in Texas around the time of the outbreak, making him potentially very close in proximity to the leads of Fear the Walking Dead, who will soon be departing the country of Mexico and heading north.
