Team Arrow’s Role in Arrowverse Crossover

In “Crisis on Earth-X,” this year’s Arrowverse crossover, a select few members of Team Arrow will go toe-to-toe with their evil doppelgangers from another universe. During a set visit, Rick Gonzales (Wild Dog), Juliana Harkavy (Black Canary) and David Ramsey (Spartan, now Green Arrow) weighed in on the role — or lack thereof — they played in the multiversal event.

“I think a lot of us are all involved in the crossover in some capacity. I mean… Crisis X, it’s gonna be pretty eventful,” Gonzales shared. “There’s a lot happening in there. I was excited to be a part of it. I’m also excited that I was in it last season. The trajectory of what they’re created… I don’t know how they keep coming up with this stuff and topping it every year. It’s nuts. That’s gonna be pretty fun to see, just as a fan watching. I’m excited.”

For Harkavy, “Crisis on Earth-X” is her first crossover. “It was crazy! I mean, it was a whirlwind. The crossover has taught me a lot,” she explained. “It was really exciting and Dinah… you know, there’s so much action, that there’s a lot of sort of jumping around, but — because there’s a lot of action — there’s a lot of room for Dinah to work her magic.”

“White Canary is awesome. I did get to meet all those guys, Caity [Lotz] and all those girls, for the first time during the crossover, and it was great,” she added. “They’re amazing. I learned a lot from them.”

Ramsey, on the other hand, won’t have much to do with the crossover. “Yes, it’s awesome. It was great. It was very nice, and I had a nice vacation during that time,” he said with a laugh. “I didn’t do a whole lot. But the wedding was great. And I got to sit in on our episode 8, which is the best part of the crossover, and I’ve said this in another interview but Stephen [Amell] and Melissa [Benoist] particularly shine, they really do a fantastic job. I think you guys will enjoy it, both of them, just what they do.”

This year’s four-part crossover “Crisis on Earth-X” will air across two nights, beginning Monday, Nov. 27 with Supergirl and Arrow (on a special night for one week only) and concluding Tuesday, Nov. 28 with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
