The first teaser for the Arrowverse’s “Crisis on Earth-X” crossover event has debuted. The video shows the assembled heroes of the Arrowverse ready to do battle with the inhabitants of Earth-X. The four-part event will bring together characters from the CW’s The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow and Supergirl series.

A superhero crossover event is an annual tradition at the CW these days. Last year, the “Invasion” crossover event saw the Arrowverse’s heroes assemble to face the Dominators. This year, the threat is perhaps even more serious.
“Crisis on Earth-X” will kick off with the heroes of the Arrowverse in town for Barry Allen and Iris West’s wedding, only for the villains of Earth-X to crash the party. Earth-X is an alternate Earth that saw Germany with World War II. As a result, Earth-X’s Arrowverse heroes are all evil Nazi doppelgangers.

Being an alternate reality, the event will bring back villains of old. Prometheus, who died at the end of Season 5 on Arrow, will make his return. Gypsy, however, won’t be a part of the crossover event.
This year’s four-part crossover will air across two nights, beginning Monday, Nov. 27, with Supergirl and Arrow (on a special night for one week only), and concluding Tuesday, Nov. 28, with The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow.
