Gundam Docks, the ongoing series of giant Mobile Suit Gundam installations, arrives in Japan on Nov. 20.
Gundam Docks at Tokyo Japan will bring 21 giant Gundam models plus a selection of other displays and limited edition merchandise to Japanese fans from Nov. 21, 2017 to Jan. 8, 2018.
Making its first appearance in Japan, the Gundam Docks series has previously visited Hong Kong, Singapore, and Taiwan.
Mobile Suit Gundam will be completely taking over DiverCity Tokyo Plaza for the duration of the event, with each floor hosting displays and decor dedicated to a different instalment of the franchise.
In addition to the pillar wraps, entrance, and elevator decorations, Floors 1 and 3 – 5 will also feature 1/10th scale Gundam models with 21 in total spread across the three floors.
Three large Haro balloons will hang in the atrium between floors four and six while fans will have the opportunity to take 3D photos and purchase limited edition merchandise in the fourth floor event space.
During the event, the venue will be running a stamp rally in which fans can get their hands on a Federation or Zeon screen cleaner, as well as other Christmas themed campaigns.
