Justice League’s Aquaman is iconic for a number of reasons (both positive and negative), as is his key weapon of choice, the almighty trident. Well, it turns out that trident has a name, at least in the eyes of Aquaman actor Jason Momoa.

Asked what it was like working with the signature weapon, Momoa revealed (via Entertainment Weekly) “her” name: “Her name’s Bernadette,” he said.
The star went on to discuss a key scene in the movie in which he fights off parademons with Bernadette. “It’s one of the coolest scenes in the movie,” Momoa said. “I originally ride the Batmobile. I jump off with my trident – my trusty pitchfork – and stab parademons. They pull me up into the sky, so I basically fight them in the air. I get to bite into their wings, and tear their wings off. He falls to the ground, and Cyborg saves him. My character’s kind of savage.”
