Pixar’s Coco Enlists SHIELD’s Natalia Cordova-Buckley

Pixar’s Coco has added an Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. to its cast. According to Deadline, Slingshot star Natalia Cordova-Buckley will lend her voice to the legendary Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in the film.

The news comes just a month ahead of the film’s theatrical debut. Cordova-Buckley will have a cameo in the English language-version of the film. The movie follows a character named Miguel (Anthony Gonzalez), who — through a mysterious and otherworldly chain of events — comes across a charming trickster Héctor (Gael García Bernal) and sets off on a musical adventure to unlock the real story behind his family history.
