Thor & Loki Talk About Their Pasts in Thor: Ragnarok Scene

Early reviews praise the humor of Thor: Ragnarok, which is on full display in this new scene from the Marvel sequel.

In the clip, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Loki (Tom Hiddleston) reminisce about the past in an elevator on Sakaar. “Loki, I thought the world of you,” Thor tells his brother. “I thought we were gonna fight side by side forever but at the end of the day, you’re you and I’m me.” The clip then takes a tonal shift as Thor suggests to they use “get help” — clearly frequently used ploy for their pasts — to get past the guards waiting for them.

This scene is only the latest released from director Taika Waititi’s film, following a clip of Cate Blanchett’s goddess of death, Hela, who plucks Mjolnir from midair and destroys as Thor and Loki watch on in astonishment. Before that, Waititi’s Korg made his debut in a scene where he compares Thor’s loss of Mjolnir to that of a loved one.
