Enjoy Food War’s Mouth-Watering Dishes at J-WORLD TOKYO!

A mouth-watering experience is guaranteed later this month when theme park J-WORLD TOKYO kicks off their third collaboration with Tsukuda Yuto’s series Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Souma!

First published in Weekly Shounen Jump in 2012, Food Wars is now on the cusp of celebrating the third season of the TV anime series. As only fitting for a series about the creation of food, fans will be able to join in on the celebration by indulging in several savory dishes!

Themed after dishes characters made for the annual Moon Banquet Festival, this pepper mochi includes an image of Yukihira Souma! Wheat flour, oyster sauce, five-spice powder, and onion went into creating these golden beauties.

First made by Kuga Terunori, this traditional Chinese dish is hearty with a healthy serve of rice and a sauce made with red bean jam infused with sichuan pepper and blocks of silken tofu.

Hainanese Chicken Rice – 920 yen

From the mind of Eizan Etsuya, this dish features strips of chicken alongside rice, tomato, cucumber, and cilantro. It also comes with three different sauce options: chili, ginger, or soy!

Those interested in treating themselves should be mindful of dates, though! The pepper mochi and Hainanese chicken rice is available from Oct. 21 to Nov. 30, whereas the Mapo Doufu is only available from Oct. 21 to Nov. 15. Which Food Wars dish are you keen to eat?!
