Following the show’s panel at New York Comic Con, Amazon has unveiled the first full-length trailer for Jack Ryan, starring John Krasinski in the title role.

Clocking at at minute and a half in length, the footage depicts Ryan being torn from his life as a CIA analyst and tossed into the middle of a deadly game of cat and mouse after he stumbles upon a suspicious series of bank transfers. Along with giving us our first look at Krasinski in action as Ryan, the trailer also introduces James Greer (played by Wendell Pierce) and Cathy Mueller (Abbie Cornish).
The series will mark the first time author Tom Clancy’s character has been brought to life on the small screen. The role has been played on film by Alec Baldwin, Harrison Ford (twice), Ben Affleck and, most recently, Chris Pine, in 2014’s Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit. The drama will essentially reboot the character, again, starting Ryan (Krasinski) off as a fresh-faced CIA analyst who has a knack of knowing when and where terrorists might strike. Cornish (Sucker Punch) will play Ryan’s love interest, Cathy Mueller.
A co-production of Paramount TV and Skydance TV, Jack Ryan is executive produced by Michael Bay’s Platinum Dunes, Carlton Cuse (Lost) and Graham Roland (Fringe). The 10-episode series will hit Amazon in 2018.
