Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru will be back for a second season in 2018, but ahead of that fans will have the chance to revisit the first season through Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru~Makuai Kaisouroku~, a special compilation movie screening in movie theaters for two weeks only from Dec. 1!
The movie’s key visual features an illustration by character designer Taniguchi Junichirou while the trailer includes a number of scenes travelling through the seasons.
Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru will also be releasing a 12 track soundtrack CD including pieces from the movie, which will come bundled with a bonus Blu-ray featuring the end titles video.
Tickets for the Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru compilation movie went on sale on Sept. 29, with customers booking through Animate receiving a special bonus gift.
Touken Ranbu: Hanamaru~Makuai Kaisouroku~ premieres in Japan on Dec. 1, 2017.
