WATCH: Star Trek: Discovery Opening Title Sequence

CBS has released the full Star Trek: Discovery opening title sequence ahead of its debut tonight at 8:30pm ET on the network and its All Access streaming service.

Blending various visual elements from Star Trek lore — costumes, phasers, the Vulcan salute, the U.S.S. Discovery itself, and much, much more — the (literally) artful opening titles should make anyone stoked for the franchise’s return to the small-screen. Take a look below.

Set 10 years before the adventures of Kirk and Spock in Star Trek: The Original Series, Discovery stars Sonequa Martin-Green, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Yeoh, Doug Jones and Anthony Rapp, with Alex Kurtzman, Bryan Fuller, Heather Kadin, Gretchen J. Berg and Aaron Harberts, Akiva Goldsman, Rod Roddenberry and Trevor Roth serving as Executive Producers.
