Spencer Treat Clark will return as Dunn’s son, who found out at the end of Unbreakable that his security guard father had superhuman strength and was impervious to harm, while Charlayne Woodard will reprise her role as the mother of Samuel L. Jackson’s Elijah Price, a brittle-boned individual known as Mr. Glass who sought to discover the world’s superpowered individuals.
The film’s official synopsis reads:
Following the conclusion of Split, Glass finds Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

The final scene of Split proved to be the catalyst for setting up a shared universe for the two movies, as it had Dunn in a cameo looking on at Crumb’s exploits on the news, realizing he needed to attend to the villain-on-the-loose who imprisoned and tortured several young women. Shortly after word of this post-credits scene began to spread, Shyamalan announced this third movie. Jackson will also be returning as Price, with Anya Taylor-Joy reprising her role as Casey Cooke, the only captive to survive an encounter with The Beast.
Directed and written by M. Night Shyamalan, Glass is slated for release Jan. 18, 2019. The film stars James McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb/The Beast, Bruce Willis as David Dunn, Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, Samuel L. Jackson as Elijah Price/Mr. Glass and Sarah Paulson in an unknown role.
