Asked by a fan on Twitter whether he’d ever take up the director’s chair, Gregg revealed that he’ll actually be directing his first episode this week. This was followed by “#DaisyDatesanAlien,” which is likely a clue about the plot of the episode in question.
I’m directing my first one starting this week. #DaisyDatesanAlien

Back in May, Gregg teased the possibility of directing an episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. when the show returns for it’s fifth season, and while it’ll be the first chance for him to helm an episode of the Marvel series, it won’t be his first time behind the camera. His previous directorial work includes the 2008 comedy Choke, the 2013 comedy Trust Me, and he also directed a short film back in 2010 called A Breakfast Nook.
