The film, from Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios, swung up to $70.8 million in China, topping the foreign chart for this weekend, cementing it as the third highest-grossing start for a superhero movie in China, ever. The only two movies ahead of it are Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, which opened to $115.8 million, followed by Captain America: Civil War, which launched at $93.6 million.

Spider-Man: Homecoming has made $822.8 million worldwide so far, with a $327.7 million domestic run, dominating The Amazing Spider-Man 2’s $709 million, The Amazing Spider-Man’s $759.9 million, and Spider-Man 2’s $783.3 million. To coincide with Homecoming’s launch in China, Marvel released a bunch of eclectic posters showing the web-slinger in a variety of weird environments, including Spidey (naturally) riding a horse, chilling with pandas, and resting above the Great Wall of China.
