The Idolm@ster SideM anime project is taking off at full speed! In addition to a key visual and broadcast information, they also announced a special and a prequel episode that will be airing just before the series.
The special program is titled “Idolm@ster SideM Broadcast Celebration SP St@rting Ceremony”, and it will feature Nakamura Shugo (Tendo Teru), Uchida Yuma (Sakuraba Kaoru), and Yashiro Taku (Kashiwagi Tsubasa). It is set to air on Sep. 23.
Following the next week (Sep. 30) is The Idolm@ster Prologue SideM -Episode of Jupiter-, a prequel focusing on how the members of Jupiter came to work for 315 Production.
They also revealed information on the performers for “The Idolm@ster SideM 3rd Live Tour ~Glorious St@ge~” starting from February 2018: All 46 idols from 315 Production will be appearing on stage on Feb. 3, the first day at Makuhari Messe!
If that wasn’t enough, SideM will also be collaborating with the character cafe Anion Station Akihabara and the indoor theme park Namco Namja Town in Ikebukuro. “The Idolm@ster SideM 315! Station Akihabara” will be open from Sep. 15 to Jan. 28, and “The Idolm@ster SideM in Namja Town” between Nov.. 23 and Jan. 28.
The anime will air from Oct. 7 on Tokyo MX, ABC Asahi Broadcast, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, NBN (Nagoya TV), and BS11. There are also plans to make it available on streaming services including Bandai Channel, Animate Channel, and Nico Nico Doga. Stay tuned for upcoming announcements!
